May's Sewing Boxes Have Dropped!

And as I say every month, I love these projects! I really do. The planning and box design process runs across a number of quarters and includes a myriad of steps, choices, decisions, and then gathering of all the inventory to assemble these lovely gifts landing on your doorsteps every month - or on the schedule you've chosen to receive them.

Once the boxes ship it's so much fun to share the teasers and unboxing, and the makes! And since we do not produce patterns, we have the sewing and design world to draw from for our projects! How Fun!

The boxes we shipped in May are pretty cool. We gravitated back to Sallie Tomato because their patterns, designs, and support are just spot on. How could we resist?

We chose the Ginger by Sallie Tomato for our Bags Totes Organizers sewing box. The projects include summery canvas and twill fabrics with a cotton lining, In-R-Form Bosal and SF101 interfacings, all hardware, needle and thread and a cute little gift! For our Sew Fun sewing box Sallie Tomato caught our attention with the best small sewing kit that includes their cork fabric, which is luxurious to the touch! The project is a lanyard by name, but it's more handy than just for your badge. It has a zipper so you can slip in small items and keep them close while your hands are free. It's like having a mini wallet you can carry everywhere. And it's very good looking.

Our J Stern Designs ~ Your Wardrobe continues to be a fan favorite! Who can pass on garment sewing projects that include online tutorials and direct access to the desiger for answering your personal fitting and construction questions? Have you been missing this your whole life? Yes, you have. This is a 6 box series so you always start with box one - you haven't missed a thing. Your series includes project specific online tuturials by Jennifer Stern at no extra cost! We have new fabric selections to stay on trend with these wardrobe basics you love.

I didn't forget about the Love To Sew box. It's quickly becoming as popular as our BTO series! This box is on a six week schedule and comes out next week. We are featuring "an easy breezy top" to move you into spring and summer. I'm looking at the possibility of including two variations in one box...we'll see!!

Okay, so this was your reveal for the boxes, but the review and all the photos are going to be right behind this post!  Oh, and did you know you can be a referral partner earning $$ when you share our sewing subscription boxes with your sewing friends! Everything they need for every project in every box delivered right to their  doorsteps. No sweat, just sewing! Read more about the perks here.
